- Hours: Part Time Monday Friday 7.30 9am and 3 6pm term time only

Leiston is a 420 place school with a busy nursery. Currently judged by Ofsted as Good. We offer our children a wide range of opportunities. As the Lead Activities Worker (Wrap Around Care) you will be responsible for the day-to-day running of our breakfast and after-school provision. You will plan and deliver engaging activities ensure a warm and inclusive environment and work closely with school staff and families to provide high-quality care.
Key responsibilities:
- Set up and manage daily wraparound sessions
- Plan and deliver fun age-appropriate activities that support childrens development
- Provide a safe and stimulating environments for all pupils
- Lead and supervise wraparound care staff
- Liaise with parents and carers to support childrens needs
- Ensure policies and procedures (e.g. safeguarding health and safety) are always followed.
You will have:
- experience of working with children in a primary school or childcare setting
- motivated reliable and nurturing in your approach
- excellent communication and organisational skills
- Paediatric First Aid and DSL Safeguarding training (or willingness to complete).
