Developmental Pathways (DP) has an opportunity for a Project and Resource Coordinator Community Affairs in our Community Engagement (CE) Department.The Project and Resource Coordinator of Community Affairs will provide professional-level project support including effective execution of both internal and external projects according to timelines and budgets; create/updates effective processes to support short-term and long-term project outcomes. The Project and Resource Coordinator will coordinate project planning for department events and meetings with internal and external partners.

This hybrid position offers a 4-day 40-hour work week Monday-Thursday and includes the flexibility to work remotely as well as the opportunity to collaborate in-person at our headquarters office in Aurora CO and/or at off-site locations.

  • A minimum of two (2) years of project management experience
  • A minimum of five (5) years of administrative support and/or customer service experience
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Knowledge of community resources and experience connecting people to resources
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with thorough attention to detail
  • Must be familiar with Microsoft Office (Excel Word Outlook etc.) Google Sheets Smartsheet etc. and be able to use these and other required programs at a level appropriate to the job role
  • Personal vehicle in good operating condition for use during work as appropriate
  • Valid Colorado motor vehicle license and proof of motor vehicle insurance
  • Ability to meet our driving requirements - no suspensions/ no more than two tickets in the past three years
  • Upon request qualifying need and approval driving requirements may be waived in lieu of reliable transportation.
    Preferred
    • Three (3) or more years of project management experience
    • Six (6) or more years of administrative support and/or customer service experience
    • Project management certification
    • Experience navigating disability resources in a nonprofit environment and/or disability field

    Additional Responsibilities
    • Plan organize monitor and oversee projects utilizing cross-functional teams to deliver defined requirements and meet strategic organizational objectives
    • Work with various project leads and cross-functional stakeholders to ensure quality control throughout project life cycles
    • Develop and maintain process and procedures for the department
    • Manage and develop administrative processes records and funding projects under strict deadlines
    • Help build project plans including project life cycles project requirements resource requirements change management processes risk management key milestones communication mechanisms and deliverables
    • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned projects; manage and resolve any changes or issues related to the project
    • Develop reports and recommendations and communicates plans via written and oral presentations to project sponsors stakeholder groups and the organization
    • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation; develop and communicate to superiors a detailed project plan to track progress. Note issues on debrief after completion of the project and updates process accordingly. Create reports as needed for project close-out
    • Provide administrative support for projects including data entry data management and other items as needed to move projects forward
    • Provide thoughtful communication in appropriate formats for information sharing (e.g. letters memos lists spreadsheets etc.) for both internal and external distribution.
    • Maintain the Community Line including Reverse Referral calls from the county Department of Human Services offices
    • Serve as a competent and reliable resource point for individuals and families providing referrals and information on next steps for individuals exploring disability programming in our community
    • Provide empathetic and clear customer service outcomes to both internal and external stakeholders
    • Complete enrollment and termination processes for families in local programming (such as the Community Outreach Waitlist (COWL) program)
    • Develop and update local programming processes related to core job duties as necessary
    • Maintain appropriate working knowledge of agency and community programming and resources
