SUMMARY: The position of Special Education Teacher has the primary responsibility for all instructional activities and behavioral interventions in a self-contained therapeutic classroom DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be and implementing Individual Education Plans for each student according to state regulations curriculum standards and program guidelines by direct supervision of all instruction and functional activities in the the academic and behavioral needs of each student on an ongoing basis through formal and informal methods for the purposes of reporting planning and the learning experience according to the clinical needs of each student by incorporating the recommendations of doctors clinicians and supervisors regarding their diagnostic profile and psychosocial approved behavioral protocols consistently while demonstrating the ability to balance nurturance and accountability through unconditional positive and maintaining positive productive working relationships with students parents colleagues and supervisors by modeling a commitment to teamwork and in Consultation and other staff and all other assignments appropriate to the position as assigned by the Associate RESPONSIBILITIES: The Special Education Teacher will provide day-to-day supervision to the Teacher : To perform this job successfully an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
