POSITION SUMMARY: The Senior Payroll & Billing Analyst is a key member of the Finance team responsible for ensuring the timely and accurate billing of payroll to clients for onsite staff. Additionally this position will facilitate annual bill rate setting and prepare the annual budget and mid-year forecast projections for onsite staff.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
- Prepare bi-weekly billing of payroll for onsite staff to Clients including the reconciliation of hours adjustments to bill rates and allocations for staff working at multiple locations.
- Audit and maintain bill rates for onsite staff and work with the Community Success Team to recommend and make adjustments.
- Reconcile corporate billings to Clients for on-site staff on a monthly basis and prepare various reports with comparison to budget and prior year.
- Prepare onsite staffing projections for the annual budget and mid-year forecast.
- Facilitate annual bill rate adjustments.
- Assist with annual salary planning.
- Recommend processes procedures and internal controls for the purpose of ensuring accurate and timely billing of payroll to clients.
- Evaluate technology and reporting to increase accuracy and efficiency.
- Prepare monthly overhead staff billing report.
- Prepare quarterly billable hours bonus plan report and submit bonus payments for eligible positions .
- Analyze billing trends and provide recommendations for process improvements.
- Additional duties or job functions may be required as deemed necessary.
KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

- Strong analytical organizational and communication skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Able to maintain confidentiality and protect sensitive data at all times.
- Able to work independently with limited direct supervision.
- Advanced understanding of HR and payroll systems and processes.
- Expert MS Excel skills including lookup index and match formulas as well as Visual Basic and PivotTables.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelors degree in Business Accounting Finance or Human Resources
- 5 years of experience in Finance or related field
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience with ADP Workforce Now
