Food and Beverage Assistant | Part-Time | Tony’s Pizza Events Center

Were looking to add to our brilliant team of Food and Beverage Assistants the bright smiley faces that keep Tonys Pizza Events Center moving.

Youll need to wear a few different hats cashier host food service assistant and occasionally server never a dull moment! The shifts include various hours including nights and weekends but are based upon event schedule necessity. Whether familiar faces or visitors to the site youll bring personality and passion to our venue.

This role will pay an hourly rate of $12.00-$14.00 and is tip eligible

The TONYS Pizza Events Center located in Salina Kansas is composed of a newly renovated 6500 seat multipurpose arena and the Great Plains Manufacturing Convention Hall an 18000 square foot convention space. Nicknamed Mid-Americas Meeting Place theTonysPizza Events Center provides central Kansas a place to meet play and experience events that enhance living-in and visiting the City of Salina.

The City of Salina is the primary owner of theTonysPizza Events 360manages theTonysPizza Events Center as well ashundredsother public assembly facilities around the world.

• Help the Food and Beverage Department with any related needs to create successful events at the venue.
• Maintains knowledge of event details and any special requests.
• Provides quick attentive friendly and professional service to all guests and can communicate clearly.
• Ensures neat presentation of all items.
• Stocks food and beverage stations when necessary.
• Maintains a professional and clean appearance.
• Communicate with other event staff to improve communication and coordination with our guests during the event.
• Additional duties may be assigned by Director of Food and Beverage.

• Experience in the hospitality and/or restaurants are preferred but not required. Were open to all backgrounds and levels of experience but attitude and personality are way more important.
• Ability to work flexible shifts based on events and building needs including days nights weekends and some Holidays as Experience working in a fast-paced high-volume environment preferred.
• Must have a High School Diploma G.E.D or related Food Service Experience.
• Ability to work in a team-oriented and event-driven environment.
• The ability to communicate with employees co-workers management and guests in a clear business-like and respectful manner which focuses on generating a positive enthusiastic work environment.
