Our Developmental Pediatric Clinic program provides evaluation and treatment for a wide range of developmental and behavioral disorders including early childhood developmental delays autism complex attention deficit disorders Down syndrome developmental and behavioral aspects of genetic cardiac prematurity and neurological problems.
Position Summary:
Responsibilities for this position will include new patient evaluations and follow-up care for: suspected autism developmental and behavioral concerns and related conditions; developmental assessment of defined populations such as those with severe congenital heart disease or other chronic conditions. This individual will manage medications (stimulants atomoxetine alpha agonists selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors basic atypical antipsychotics) commonly used in the treatment of the patient populations encountered with pediatrician and psychiatrist backup
This role also includes advocating for patient and family needs such as appropriate school programming county services and therapeutic support planning.
