JOB SUMMARY
The R-Guard Production Specialist is responsible for accurately preparing and mixing the products in the Building Envelope Product Line. This position requires a high level of accountability and attention to detail.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Must be trained and experienced on mixers presses pumps and tanks in the R-Guard batch making areas.
- Read and interpret formulation sheet.
- Process batches in accordance with formulation sheet.
- Effectively communicate with R-Guard Lead or Manager as to the progress of batches.
- Responsible for raw material storage/inventory.
- Clean-up and minor maintenance of associated R-Guard equipment.
- Pulling samples for quality control.
- Must wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and follow all safety precautions.
- Clean-up of work area.
- May be assigned to daily maintenance set-up operation troubleshooting and clean-up of fill packaging lines and presses.
- Responsible for reporting leaks and spills to management.
- Perform other duties as assigned if qualified to meet business demands.
Other Duties & Responsibilities
- Complete all assigned training.
- Contribute to a safe and environmentally secure work environment for yourself your coworkers and our customers by wearing appropriate personal protective equipment and following established safety procedures.

Qualifications
KNOWLEDGE SKILLS & ABILITIES
- Must be self-motivated and able to keep up with production demands.
- Must be able to communicate effectively.
- Must be flexible and willing to help others when requested.
- Must be able to follow instructions and work with minimal supervision.
- Must be proficient in the safe operation of a forklift and its maintenance. Certification required.
- Due to the nature of our business the ability to understand read and write English fluently is required for safety reasons.

- Box cutters
- Tape gun
- Lot code printers
- Sealing&clipping machine
- Cartridge machine
- Presses
- Bulk mixers
- Bulk Powder delivery system
- Dust collection systems
- Drum crusher
- Pallet jack
- Floor scales
- Miscellaneous hand tools
WORKING CONDITION & ENVIRONMENT
This position requires exposure to various chemicals in a production environment. Exposure to dust vapors gases and chemicals is probable and personal protective equipment (PPE) is required. R-Guard production area is climate controlled.
TECHNOLOGY REQUIREMENTS
Use of Inventory Management Systems
EDUCATION - CERTIFICATION
High school diploma or equivalent. Previous mixing and production batching experience preferred.
