About the role

In this role you will be responsible for building and implementing data-driven strategies that foster a highly engaged inclusive and productive workplace culture. This role emphasises the use of data analysis to monitor employee sentiment measure engagement and identify SLC wide areas of improvement. You will partner closely with the Senior Manager Internal Communications and Employee Engagement and wider Corporate Affairs team as well as the People Directorate Senior Leaders and colleagues to transform insights into impactful engagement initiatives that align with business goals. This role is ultimately aiming to drive up our SLC Colleague Engagement Index and contributes to SLC being a great place to work. Youll be at the heart of shaping a workplace where colleagues dont just show up they thrive feel heard and genuinely love where they work.

What you bring:

  • Degree in Human Resources Organisational Psychology Communications or proven relevant experience with a significant demonstrable background in employee engagement internal communications or related field.
  • Skilled in collecting and interpreting employee sentiment data to generate actionable insights with proficiency in using survey tools and data visualisation platforms to present findings and influence decisions.
  • Ability to evaluate the impact of engagement initiatives adapt plans where necessary and create engagement strategies aligned with wider business objectives and operational context.
  • Experience working with senior leaders and cross-functional teams to drive increased engagement initiatives providing guidance and support to help teams implement effective engagement practices.
  • Excellent understanding of frameworks trends and best practices in employee engagement with the ability to apply these insights to create innovative solutions for SLCs specific needs.
  • Ability to organise and run successful engagement events manage professional networks and implement activities that help raise levels of employee engagement aligned with SLCs action plans.
