Randolph College located in Lynchburg Virginia seeks a dynamic full-time professional to serve as Head Coach for its Womens Basketball program. Duties will include managing all operations and staff plus recruiting and retaining talented student-athletes for competition in the 2025-2026 academic year and beyond.
Randolph College is a residential liberal arts institution committed to the excellence and competes in the NCAA Division III and the Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC).
Bachelors degree required (Masters preferred) and coaching experience required preferably at the collegiate level and a proven ability to recruit quality student-athletes.

Job Description
Summary/objective
Serve as Head Coach of Womens Basketball program. Manage all operations and staff of the program. Recruit student-athletes for participation in varsity NCAA Div. III womens basketball program.

Directly supervise assistant coach(es) graduate assistant(s) volunteer coach(es).
Work environment
Serves as a member of the Department of Athletics. Reports to the Director of Athletics. Recruits and supervises part-time and volunteer assistant coaches. Must work effectively on a regular basis with members of the faculty and staff members in Athletics Admission Student Affairs Alumnae/Alumni Relations Institutional Advancement and other College offices.
Physical demands
Working environment includes both indoors and outdoors exposure to various weather conditions including temperature extremes. Indoor work environment may not be air conditioned during hot weather. Must have the physical ability to walk lift up to 50 pounds run bend twist climb see hear and communicate in English both verbally and in writing.
Travel required
Travel to/from athletics events NCAA and/or ODAC meetings and/or professional development workshops required.
