Position Summary...
What youll do...
About the Role: We are looking for a skilled and experienced Real Estate Procurement Manager to join our dynamic team. In this role you will project managing merchandising initiatives for store food equipment and refrigerated assets while providing critical financial support to our real estate procurement services. Youll be responsible for budgeting forecasting and conducting ongoing financial and statistical analyses to drive facility development and supplier performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide financial support to real estate procurement services including budgeting forecasting and plan analysis
- Perform financial statistical and cash flow analyses on commodities for facility development
- Evaluate the financial impact of real estate initiatives on profit and loss
- Research industry best practices for supplier development and commodity strategies
- Establish and manage quantitative programs to measure supplier performance and increase accountability
- Provide process improvement support and consultation to suppliers
- Conduct statistical analysis on systems and data to establish clear baselines for supplier measurement
- Develop and execute real estate procurement strategies to manage material flow and operational impacts
- Create strategies to improve labor and storage facility utilization
- Develop innovative solutions for nonroutine real estate management challenges
- Collaborate with cross-functional partners to develop solutions
- Communicate effectively with senior leadership especially regarding nonconventional or compliance-driven processes
What Were Looking For:
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong record-keeping and presentation skills
- Demonstrated good judgment and the ability to thoughtfully resolve conflicting initiatives
- Creative pragmatic thinker who can think outside the box
- Experience with commercial refrigeration is a plus
- Project management experience is a plus
- Ability to manage multiple suppliers and cases helping to accelerate the learning curve
