Whats the job
Lead a team of DevOps Engineers in the CI/CD Automations domains
Collaborate closely with the associate teams in the DevOps Department.
Handle technical challenges like performance scale security and live production issues
Collaborate with the R&D leaders to optimize deployment reliability failover scenarios and scale
Oversee teams deliverables design and architecture
Coaching and mentoring of your team - leading to success and meeting goals
Reporting your teams KPI
Leading POC of RnD requirements from DevOps - leading innovation
Become the technical authority for your team by demonstrating a hands-on leadership style
Responsible for the overall design development architecture code quality and production environment deployment of your team
Put focus on team professional and personal growth
Have you done this kind of stuff
BS degree in computer science computer engineering relevant technical discipline or equivalent practical experience
5 years of experience as a hands-on technical leadership in a large-scale environment
3 years of managerial experience
Experience creating infrastructure as code solutions using tools such as: Terraform Azure ARM templates CloudFormation
Experience working with Configuration Management tools (such as Chef Ansible)
Experience with CI/CD tools and methodologies
Proven experience working in a production environment
Solid experience with containerized environments and microservices (Docker Kubernetes)
Familiar with a microservices architecture and event-driven architecture
Excellent Bash/Shell/Python scripting skills
Not a must but a great advantage
Experience with monitoring and log analysis tools such as ELK Splunk Prometheus Grafana Datadog etc.
Experience in NoSQL databases
Experienced with Queues technologies (e.g. Kafka RabbitMQ Azure Service Bus etc.)
Experience with .Net Core and .Net Framework porting
