Job Description
A successful candidate will have the following:
-Bachelors. degree and 12 years of experience. Additional experience may substitute in lieu of degree
-Experience in a customer facing role
-Linux Engineer or Admin experience
-Experience working in a DevSecOps environment (develop build test production deploy)
-Experience using Podman or Dockers for Containerization and Kubernetes of Orchestration
-Familiarity with Puppet Ansible Cobbler for server automation
-Familiarity with IT and network hardware (servers workstations routers switches etc.)
-Knowledge of software design debugging and development fundamentals
-Scripting experience: Bash Python SQL or similar
-Experience working in mixed-server environment: RHEL Windows Cisco hardware software and virtual machines
-Experience with Virtualization to include deployment of containers
Desired Skills:
-Continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) experience
-Experience designing implementing and deploying applications in a cloud environment (AWS MS Azure Oracle etc)
-Experience working in an Agile environment
This role requires a TS/SCI CI Poly level government clearance to start. Preference given to candidates with a clearance held by NIWC PAC. This is a full time W-2 position with benefits to include 100% paid medical for employee and their family 401K and 4 weeks PTO federal holidays. This work is on-site in San Diego CA. No relocation assistance provided.
