Job Description

A3T is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Logistics Specialist - Entry to provide comprehensive property accountability and IT asset management support. The role requires managing over 6000 accountable items including IT systems VTC equipment and classified/unclassified support peripherals. This position supports the full asset lifecyclefrom receiving and inventory to disposaland ensures compliance with DoD regulations including DoDI 5000.64 DoDI 5015.02 and DoDM 5200.01-V3. Access to SIPRNet NIPRNet and secure areas is required.

Job Duties
  • Maintain accountability for all government-owned IT assets and peripherals in compliance with DoDI 5000.64.
  • Maintain up-to-date records in the Defense Property Accountability System (DPAS) with asset status financial data location and condition.
  • Perform monthly physical inventories of property including bench stock and support the Accountable Property Officer (APO) in all property-related audits and activities.
  • Ensure 100% property accountability through sustained monthly inspections and documentation.
  • Receive inspect and document deliveries of IT assets; apply DPAS-compatible barcodes classification labels (UNCLASSIFIED/SECRET) and update property records.
  • Notify APO within 2 business days of receipt and update property systems accordingly.
  • Coordinate and execute IT equipment pick-up delivery and relocation activities across Hampton Roads and to/from NCR including classified items.
  • Provide and operate a contractor-owned full-size cargo van capable of transporting pallets loadable via forklift.
  • Support the full lifecycle of IT assets from receipt inventory service disposition and destruction.
  • Execute secure transport storage and movement of classified/unclassified IT systems including AV VTC VoIP and COMSEC components.
  • Maintain documentation per DoDI 5015.02 and DISA Records Disposition Schedule ensuring data such as purchase date service date and cost improvements are readily available.
  • Maintain original and electronic documentation for each asset transaction.
  • Generate weekly productivity reports and monthly inventory reports including discrepancies FLIPL status and disposal tracking.
  • Ensure signed forms are recorded for each asset change/transaction.
  • Prepare and submit Electronic Turn-In Documents (ETIDs) and DD Form 1348-1A for all assets marked for Defense Reutilization and Marketing Office (DRMO).
  • Execute NSA-approved degaussing and destruction of hard drives CDs DVDs USBs and other media prior to DRMO.
  • Manage and document asset disposal and reutilization processes.
  • Adhere to all DoD and DISA SOPs related to the safeguarding storage and transportation of classified equipment.
  • Conduct joint inventories during property transfers and support Financial Liability Investigations for Property Loss (FLIPLs) and completion of DD Form 200.
  • Maximize use of UID standard taxonomy and automated processes for property visibility and audit readiness.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Active SECRET clearance
  • Experience using DPAS or similar Government property accountability systems
  • 1 to 2 years of experience in Government property logistics or IT asset management
  • Strong understanding of DoDI 5000.64 DoDM 5200.01 and relevant property management policies
  • Valid drivers license and access to a compliant cargo vehicle
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs and perform physical warehouse tasks
Preferred Experience:
  • Experience supporting DISA DoD or classified logistics operations
  • Familiarity with NSA-approved media destruction equipment
