Job Description
Job Title:Math Tutor
Position Type:Part-time
Location:Cunniff Elementary
Hours Per Week:22 hours per week
Rate of Pay:$35.00 per hour
Reports to:Math Coordinator
Summary:
The Math Tutor will work with classroom teachers to identify students who require substantial intervention in Math. The tutor will work with these students primarily in a push-in model for the purpose of small group and targeted assistance aligned with the Literacy curriculum.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Responsibilities:
- Complete required paperwork for the strategies/interventions as outlined in Title I regulations
- Work with principal and classroom teachers to identify potential students for the assistance/ intervention using objective criteria
- Teach multiple small intervention groups.
- Progress monitor and analyze student data

- Demonstrated ability to implement interventions in Math programs and to provide support to at-risk students
- Licensure by the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education as an Elementary Teacher
