Job Title: Mechanical Maintenance PM Technician
Location: Weaverville NC
Reports To: Maintenance Supervisor
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary:
We are seeking a Mechanical Maintenance PM Technician to maintain troubleshoot and repair conventional and CNC machine tools. This role involves performing preventative maintenance routines interpreting mechanical and electrical schematics and ensuring the physical structure of our establishment is in top condition.
Key Responsibilities:
Observe safety and security procedures and report potentially unsafe conditions.
Interpret mechanical electrical/electronic hydraulic and pneumatic schematics and diagrams.
Perform scheduled preventative maintenance routines.
Clean and lubricate shafts bearings gears and other parts of machinery.
Handle hydraulic and pneumatic systems including assembly installation maintenance and repair.
Repair and maintain the physical structure of the establishment.
Utilize basic welding skills to operate cutting torches or welding equipment.
Fabricate and repair mechanical devices as needed.
Work all shifts when required.
Commit to a full-time 40-hour workweek with occasional overtime.
Maintain 12 months of satisfactory performance.
Required Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED.
Industrial Mechanics Certification preferred or 3 years of related experience and/or training or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Physical Requirements:
Routinely lift and/or move up to 40 pounds.
Specific vision abilities required include close vision peripheral vision and depth perception.
Regularly required to talk or hear.
Frequently required to stand reach with hands and arms stoop kneel crouch or crawl.
Routinely required to walk sit climb or balance.
