Position Overview:Echos Sales Operations Department is seeking a passionate self-starter for our Account Executive role. This role is responsible for ensuring outstanding service by understanding and exceeding client needs and expectations. You will be responsible for providing solutions to client problems managing client relationships and analyzing daily operations to identify opportunities to improve efficiency and maximize profitability.
On this team your work ethic determination and customer-first mentality will help you to secure and maintain relationships with key accounts while contributing to Echos long-term growth and success.
Job Duties & Responsibilities:
Deliver exceptional client service by scheduling booking and tracking each shipment to its completion across all modes of transportation (TL LTL Partial Flatbed etc.)
Verify timely pick-ups and deliveries manage exceptions and service failures proactively with minimal client disruption and work with sales to execute on requests based on each individual client
Manage day-to-day client relationships through strong verbal and written communication
Proactively identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency for your team
Develop and implement strategies to drive growth and increase profitability
Maintain current operating procedures and update SOPs when necessary
Quote all modes and leverage margin to drive growth for your sales rep/sales manager
Partner with and mentor Logistics Coordinators to share workload and allow prioritization based on client needs
Be an expert using Echos proprietary technology to perform all tasks required to fulfill client requests
Manage account receivables for your accounts and proactively resolve issues when necessary
Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelors degree
1-2 years of experience in Logistics Supply Chain or Transportation industries preferred
Strong inter-departmental and client relationship building skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proficient in Windows Operating systems and Microsoft Office suite
Proven track record of exceptional customer service/handling customer issues
Thrives in a fast-paced competitive environment that requires multi-tasking and problem solving
