Position Overview: The Program Manager CRS Weekend Coverage is a vital leadership role responsible for ensuring smooth operations and high-quality services across Residential Transitions Inc.s Community Residential Services (CRS) during peak weekend hours. This position oversees multiple residential sites providing direct staff supervision program coordination and administrative support. The Program Manager promotes a collaborative and person-centered approach while supporting individuals with mental health diagnoses in their journey toward greater independence. This role offers a unique four-day workweek (Friday through Monday) with three consecutive days off to encourage work-life balance. Role Responsibilities: - Provide on-site leadership and supervision across multiple CRS residential program locations during weekend coverage hours.
- Support and coach direct care staff to ensure consistent implementation of resident care plans including medication administration independent living skills development and engagement in health and wellness activities.
- Monitor all CRS sites remotely to ensure quality address staffing needs and manage coverage for call-ins.
- Respond promptly and effectively to any incidents or crisis situations occurring during weekend hours.
- Collaborate with weekday leadership and on-call teams to maintain seamless weekend-to-weekday operational continuity.
- Complete essential administrative tasks during Friday and Monday day shifts including compliance tracking documentation review communication follow-up and project work with QA/Compliance leadership.
- Promote a positive safe and supportive environment for residents and staff aligned with RTIs mission.
Required Qualifications and Experience: - Experience in program management or supervisory roles within mental health or residential services preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to lead support and motivate direct care staff.
- Strong organizational and administrative skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and respond to crisis situations with sound judgment.
- Valid drivers license and reliable transportation to travel among multiple program sites.
- Must pass all required background checks and maintain eligibility to provide services under Minnesota Department of Human Services regulations.
Preferred Qualifications: - Bachelors degree in Human Services Social Work Psychology or a related field.
- Experience working with individuals diagnosed with Serious and Persistent Mental Illness (SPMI).
- Familiarity with quality assurance compliance and program development practices.
