Position Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented analytical and collaborative professional to join our HR team as a Compensation Analyst. This role will own and oversee the full lifecycle of Meriplexs commission program from design and documentation to monthly calculations reporting and communication. This person will partner cross-functionally to ensure our commission plans are competitive clear compliant and aligned with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the annual redesign and enhancement of commission plans to align with and evolving business goals market competitiveness and performance drivers.
- Partner with stakeholders to shape plan structure KPIs payout model and eligibility rules.
- Model and analyze proposed plan changes to assess financial impact alignment with performance and potential risks or unintended consequences.
- Create and maintain accurate transparent and legally compliance commission plan documentation.
- Ensure all eligible employees receive and sign off on commission plan documents in a timely manner.
- Develop and maintain a clear audit trail for all commission-related changes and calculations.
- Monitor compliance with plan terms and escalate discrepancies or concerns.
- Own the end-to-end monthly commission calculation process ensuring accuracy timeliness and consistency.
- Provide accurate reports and summaries to payroll for processing payouts.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all commission-related inquiries.
- Provide clear practice communications about plan mechanics earning expectations and updates.
- Analyze trends in commission payouts performance metrics and plan effectiveness.
- Identify opportunities to simplify or enhance commission processes tooling or systems.
Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of experience in compensation finance or a related field ideally with direct ownership of commission plans.
- Strong analytical skills
- Experience with HRIS CRM (i.e. Salesforce) and commission tracking tools
- Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy and integrity
Knowledge of compensation compliance practices preferred
Physical Demands:
Sedentary Work Exerts up to 50 pounds of force occasionally a negligible amount of force frequently and/or constantly having to lift carry push pull or otherwise move objects including the human body. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time.
