Job Description
We are in search of a Director of Technical Services R&D and QA for one of our most trusted clients! The ideal candidate will be an authentic leader with solid background in food safety quality and R&D. Reporting directly to the President this position has high visibility and will drive cross-functional initiatives to improve margin consistency and technical performance. They will oversee a team of nine and serve as the primary technical expert with oversight for both quality and R&D. This role is critical in supporting customer needs through effective problem-solving and delivering technical insights that align with business goals.
Keys to success in this role:
- 10 years of experience in food manufacturing with leadership in technical services QA or R&D
- Excellent collaborative and change management abilities
- Enthusiastic and strong communicator who is an independent thinker and drives strategic change
- Self-starter with strong systems thinking attention to detail and proactive problem solving skills.
- Skilled in cross-functional collaboration and customer communication.
- Bachelors degree in Food Science Microbiology Chemistry or related field (Masters a plus).
