Job Description

  • Contract: Permanent full year

  • Hours:An average of two days per week (15 hours) during term time with ad hoc days during holiday periods. There will be periods away from home for weekend training or week long camps.

The role

The Grammar School at Leeds is seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our Combined Cadet Force (CCF) as the School Staff Instructor. This vital role ensures the smooth operation of the CCF Contingent and plays a key part in developing the leadership potential of our cadets through military training outdoor pursuits and meticulous administrative and logistical support.

The successful candidate will ideally have recent experience as an Officer or SNCO or leadership experience within a CCF or ACF environment. A sound understanding of military protocols training delivery and equipment management is essential. Candidates should also possess excellent organisational and communication skills and be comfortable working independently and collaboratively. A full UK driving licence and the flexibility to support camps field days and weekend training are required.
