Job Description
This role is for an Echo Tech responsible for performing echocardiograms primarily carotid ultrasounds in an outpatient facility. The position requires a minimum of one year of experience with two years preferred and proficiency in using ultrasound equipment specifically GE E95. The schedule is a standard day shift (8:00 AM - 5:00 PM) with no weekend or on-call requirements.
- Utilizing ultrasound equipment preferably GE E95.
- Maintaining accurate patient records.
- Adhering to all safety and infection control protocols.
- Collaborating with other healthcare professionals as needed.
- Proficiency in performing carotid ultrasounds.
- Experience with GE E95 ultrasound equipment (preferred).
- Current ARDMS RDCS AE certification.
- BLS certification.
- RDCS certification.
- Active state license (pending licenses accepted).
- Two years of experience as an Echo Tech.
- No weekends or on-call requirements.
- No floating between units.
- Experience with EPIC charting is preferred.
- No weekends or on-call shifts.
