Job Summary:
This role is for an X-Ray Technician in an outpatient orthopedic clinic. The technician will perform X-rays on patients with musculoskeletal injuries utilizing various equipment and software. The position requires a minimum of three years of experience in outpatient X-ray technology.
Location: Greenville South Carolina United States.
Responsibilities:
- Performing X-ray procedures on orthopedic outpatient patients with sports-related or other musculoskeletal injuries.
- Utilizing various X-ray equipment from manufacturers such as GE Phillips and Siemens.
- Utilizing PACS systems for image management.
- Maintaining accurate patient records and documentation.
- Assisting orthopedic specialists as needed.
- Adhering to all safety protocols and regulations.
Required Skills & Certifications:
- Minimum 3 years of experience as an X-Ray Technician in an outpatient setting.
- Proficiency with X-ray equipment from GE Phillips and Siemens.
- Experience with PACS systems.
- Knowledge of lower extremity (ankle foot knee patella tibia-fibula) and upper extremity (AC joints & shoulder) imaging.
- Current BLS certification.
- Active X-Ray Technician license in South Carolina.
Preferred Skills & Certifications:
- Experience in an ER setting.
- ACLS certification.
Special Considerations:
- No on-call or weekend requirements.
- No float requirements.
- RTO (return to office) after booking is not allowed.
- Clinic will not accept first-time travelers.
Scheduling:
- 40-hour work week Monday-Friday.
- 8-hour shifts 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
- Schedule determined per clinic needs.
