Job Summary (List Format):
- Promote the science of reading and facilitate collaboration among literacy activities for children from birth through grade 12.
- Manage activities and ensure compliance related to the Arizona Comprehensive Literacy State Development (CLSD) grant.
- Coordinate and maintain effective partnerships between CLSD grant projects agency literacy efforts and community partners.
- Oversee multiple grant activities including grant budget management and reporting.
- Use data analysis to assess and inform literacy programs and develop technical assistance for schools local education agencies (LEAs) and early childhood programs.
- Disseminate information and resources supporting the CLSD grant through various channels such as reports webinars training and presentations in line with U.S. Department of Education guidelines.
- Provide technical assistance support services and tools to schools LEAs and early childhood programs participating in Arizonas CLSD grant.
- Offer ongoing support to CLSD grantees and other stakeholders.
- Conduct occasional in-state and rare out-of-state travel as required.
- Work in-office up to five days per week as business needs require.
- Day-to-day duties include 40% processing grants/data entry/grants management/collaboration and 60% education/literacy-related work.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Early Childhood Elementary Education data/finance or a related field or equivalent relevant experience (minimum 2 years).
- Experience providing professional development coaching and/or technical assistance.
- Skills in public speaking effective communication organization and time management.
- Moderate proficiency in Microsoft Word Excel Outlook and PowerPoint.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Arizona Teaching Certification with Literacy and/or Reading Endorsement.
- Experience working with and managing grants.
- Experience supporting programs for children and families.
