Job Description
X-Ray / CT Tech (Contract Role)
Location: Oswego New York 13126
Assignment Duration: 8-Weeks Contract
Position Highlights: - Shift: 12-hr. Nights 7pm-7am - Friday Saturday and Sunday
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
- Weekly Pay Rate: $2520 $2664
- Perform diagnostic imaging procedures including X-Ray and CT scans in accordance with physician orders and standard protocols.
- Ensure accurate patient positioning and exposure techniques for optimal image quality.
- Operate and maintain imaging equipment safely and effectively.
- Prepare and educate patients for imaging procedures to ensure comfort and cooperation.
- Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare team members to deliver timely and accurate diagnostic information.
- Maintain accurate patient records and comply with HIPAA and hospital standards.
- Adhere to radiation safety and infection control protocols.
- Must have hands-on experience in both X-Ray and CT modalities.
- Associates Degree in Medical Radiography or an equivalent combination of education and clinical experience.
- Current New York State (NYS) License as a Radiologic Technologist.
- ARRT Certification (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) in both X-Ray and CT.
- BLS Certification (Basic Life Support).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
