Location: Hybrid 1 day/week onsite in Financial District NYC and 2 days/week in Edison NJ
Work Type: Hybrid
Job Type: Contract (12 months)
Rate: $75 $85/hour C2C (based on experience and Python/C# proficiency)

Job Description:
QBE Insurance is seeking an experienced Azure Cloud Engineer to manage and support key components within its Azure environment including API Management App Services and Function Apps. This role requires a hands-on technologist who can monitor performance coordinate with dev teams troubleshoot cloud resources and gradually take on solution delivery responsibilities. Strong communication and collaboration skills are essential for working across local and offshore teams.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Manage and support existing Azure services (API Management App Services Function Apps)
- Monitor and troubleshoot performance availability and integration issues
- Coordinate with development teams to resolve incidents and implement fixes
- Maintain accurate documentation and configurations
- Assist with design and deployment of APIs and serverless solutions
- Collaborate effectively with offshore teams
Required Skills:
- Proven experience with Azure API Management App Services and Function Apps
- Strong troubleshooting skills in cloud environments
- Familiarity with Azure monitoring tools and deployment pipelines
- Excellent communication and coordination abilities
Preferred Skills:
- Hands-on experience with C# and/or Python
- Familiarity with MuleSoft
- Azure certifications (preferred and prioritized)
- Willingness to transition from support to full-scale cloud solution delivery
