Location: Dallas TX or Tampa FL
Work Type: Hybrid (3 days onsite per week)

Job Description:
This position is with a financial services firm offering clearing settlement custody and risk management services for securities transactions. The role involves upgrading and modernizing an existing Angular codebase as part of a core development team supporting capital market risk capabilities.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Upgrade Angular applications from pre-9.x to post-9.x stacks
- Refactor legacy code following modern Angular standards
- Develop reusable components services and modules
- Optimize performance and accessibility across browsers/devices
- Collaborate with UX/UI QA DevOps and backend teams
- Participate in Agile ceremonies: sprint planning stand-ups retrospectives
- Maintain code quality via unit/integration testing and reviews
- Support CI/CD pipeline implementation and tooling
- Stay current with Angular platform changes
Required Skills:
- Hands-on experience upgrading Angular (pre-9.x to 9.x)
- Strong TypeScript RxJS Angular CLI and SCSS/CSS knowledge
- Experience with Agile/Scrum and JIRA
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs and Swagger/OpenAPI
- CI/CD pipelines Git and containerized environments
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Bachelors degree in a technical or computer discipline
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with Snowflake
- Familiarity with Karma Jasmine (testing frameworks)
- Experience in financial services/capital markets domain
