Job Summary:
The Provider Enrollment Analyst interacts professionally with healthcare providers and ancillary staff to process enrollment and file maintenance for Medicaid programs. This role requires strong attention to detail excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced quality-focused environment.
Core Responsibilities:
- Process a minimum of 100 assigned provider enrollment applications and maintenance requests using documented work instructions.
- Identify deficiencies in applications and notify providers; update files based on quality assurance feedback.
- Respond promptly to status inquiries regarding applications.
- Research and contact providers via phone to resolve application deficiencies.
- Adhere to Quality Assurance standards maintaining a minimum 98% quality score.
- Maintain confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA requirements.
- Recommend process improvements to management.
- Flexibility to work overtime as required by inventory demands.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by leadership.
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum 6 months of experience in healthcare provider enrollment and credentialing.
- Minimum 1 year in customer service data entry or a related administrative role.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and data systems.
