Job Description

Job Title: MES Siemens Opscenter Camstar

Location: Phoenix AZ (Hybrid)

Hire Mode: Contract

Job Summary:

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Systems Engineering or a related technical field
  • 5 years of experience supporting manufacturing or industrial software systems eg MES SCADA databasedriven applications
  • Strong troubleshooting and problemsolving skills with the ability to analyze and resolve complex technical issues in a fastpaced environment
  • Handson experience with one or more manufacturing systems such as Siemens Opcenter Ignition or equivalent platforms
  • Solid understanding of manufacturing processes and production environments eg GMP lean manufacturing Six Sigma principles
  • Proficiency in SQL and database query tools for data analysis and issue diagnosis
  • Familiarity with software deployment tools system monitoring and version control practices
  • Experience working with crossfunctional teams including IT Engineering Quality and Production
  • Familiarity and have practical experience with industry standards related to manufacturing operations including ISA95
  • Knowledge of FDA regulations such as 21 CFR Part 11
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills able to document technical issues and communicate with both technical and nontechnical users.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Provide daytoday technical support for manufacturing software systems including MES Manufacturing Execution Systems SCADA SQL Server and related applications

Support continuous software improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to enhance system performance user experience and operational efficiency

Troubleshoot and resolve softwarerelated production issues in a timely manner to minimize manufacturing downtime

Collaborate with crossfunctional teams including Engineering Quality IT and Production to identify root causes and implement corrective actions for software and system anomalies

Monitor and maintain system performance ensuring uptime and reliability across supported platforms

Support software deployments configuration updates and system integrations in manufacturing environments

Document incidents service requests and resolutions in accordance with IT service management processes

Conduct routine system health checks and participate in software validation and change control processes

Assist in the creation and maintenance of technical documentation and support procedures

Participate in oncall rotation and provide afterhours or weekend support as needed

This position assumes and performs other duties as assigned
