What you will do:
- Research & Analysis: Conduct market research to identify trends keyword research using tools like Google Keyword Planner SEMrush etc.
- On-page SEO: Assist in performing on-page SEO: keyword research meta tag creation internal linking content optimization URL structure etc.
- Off-page SEO: Contribute to off-page SEO i.e. backlink building guest posting directory submissions and blogger outreach.
- Reporting: Track rankings backlinks and overall SEO performance and prepare weekly/monthly reports.
- Strategy Development: Collaborate with the team to develop and refine digital strategies that align with clients goals.
- Support: Assist in preparing presentations and reports for client meetings.
Requirements
Experience & Industry Knowledge
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing Communications Business or a related field.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing and a desire to learn and grow in the field.
Skills
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
- Basic understanding of search engine optimization principles
- Familiarity with tools like Google Search Console Google Analytics SEMRUSH etc.
- Comfortable with MS Excel / Google Sheets for data collection and reporting.
- Strategic thinker with a results-driven approach.
Good to Have Skills
- Basic knowledge of WordPress or CMS platforms.
- Experience using Canva or other design tools for creating social bookmarks or infographics.
- Understanding of HTML basics for SEO purposes.
