Duration: Estimated as a 6-month contract. This is a part time role with expected commitment of around 20 hours per week.
Location: This is a hybrid role located in Raleigh NC. This person will be expected to go into the office 1 day per week.
Itron is seeking a talented Part time Contract - Marketing Copywriter to join our team and help us drive our marketing efforts to new heights. As a Marketing Copywriter your primary focus will be on creating compelling promotional communications and managing marketing campaigns to drive engagement and sales.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Craft compelling high-quality copy for a variety of marketing channels including email campaigns social media posts website content product pages brochures and other promotional materials.
Translate complex product features and technical information into clear engaging and benefit-driven copy.
Conduct audience research to tailor messaging to specific customer segments and improve engagement.
Support integrated marketing campaigns with persuasive content that drives conversions and brand awareness.
Edit and proofread content to ensure clarity consistency and grammatical accuracy.
Monitor content performance and iterate based on engagement metrics and feedback.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Marketing Communications Journalism English or a related field.
Proven experience in copywriting preferablyintechnology-focused environment.
Exceptional writing editing and storytelling skills with a strong grasp of grammar and tone.
Ability to adapt writing style for different audiences and formats.
Familiarity with SEO principles and digital content optimization.
Strong collaboration skills and ability to work cross-functionally with product design and marketing teams.
Preferred Skills and Experience:
Previous experience in developing and executing customer satisfaction surveys
Experience working in a business to business environment
