Real Estate & Facility Management (RE&FM) manages properties and facility services for Vattenfall. We are covering both technical and conventional services across all offices and plants. Thereby we are powering a fossil-free future together with all Vattenfall employees.

Your position
As Compliance Manager you ensure that Vattenfalls Real Estate & Facility Management (RE&FM) organization is compliant with all relevant functional and statutory requirements. Compliance is of the utmost importance to the central role in society that Vattenfall has as a provider of critical infrastructure. Within Vattenfall RE&FM is responsible for large parts of this critical infrastructure maintenance and supporting IT systems to operate them.   

As a Compliance Manager you will be responsible for all compliance-related activities. You continuously need to identify all the current and future statutory requirements applicable to the RE&FM functions. These include the audit integrity security (physical and information security) sustainable and risk management requirements. You will also be involved in different Cross Regional Taskforces that discusses the handling of major recent global events. In these project teams you will be responsible for the risk assessment of these global events on Vattenfalls critical business operations. Other responsibilities in the role are:

• Lead the necessary projects together with RE&FM regional units related Staff Functions and suppliers and implement these requirements into our international core processes and systems in an efficient way.
• Proactively monitor compliance with all these requirements within our RE&FM operations and conduct any necessary checks and audits with the aim to identify deviations implement corrective measures and drive continuous improvements.
• Lead various initiatives and projects dealing with RE&FM compliance requirements and be RE&FMs interface towards the departments Legal and Integrity Corporate Security Sustainability Risk Management and Internal Audit.

In your function you will report to the Director of Cross-regional RE&FM and work closely with our regional RE&FM business contacts.

Main tasks

• Run of Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) reporting activities;
• Conduct check of Business Continuity Management (BCM) plans identify new threats and develop / update plans;
• Support activities of the Corporate Security & Resilience (CS&R) department regarding Security Risk Assessment (SRA) activities;
• RE&FM representative in the physical security coordination forum of Vattenfall;
• Establish compliance report for RE&FM together with the Human Resources (HR) department;
• Support other compliance-related activities in collaboration with the Internal Audit Accounting and Insurance departments.

To succeed as Compliance Manager you need to be communicative and have the ability to motivate and inspire others. You are a team player and have the capacity to convince stakeholders with interpersonal skills and expertise. Furthermore you bring the following qualifications with you:

• Understanding of RE&FM business;
• Good analytical skills and strategic thinking;
• Target oriented and pragmatic mindset;
• Knowledge of physical and information security aspects;
• Affinity to use IT reporting tools;
• Independent and structured way of working;
• Good communication and teamwork skills;
• Good written and spoken English;
• Good Knowledge of Office 365.
