We are seeking a motivated and collaborative Laboratory Operations Group Leader to provide strategic and people-focused leadership within the US DMPK Department. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide day-to-day leadership and guidance to team members supporting their development performance and engagement.
- Foster a collaborative and inclusive team culture encouraging open communication knowledge sharing and accountability.
- Serve as a liaison between scientific teams global stakeholders and external collaborators ensuring alignment on priorities and timelines.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance team efficiency communication and adaptability.
- Monitor team training and compliance ensuring readiness and adherence to internal standards.
- Support strategic planning and resource allocation in collaboration with department leadership.
- Navigate ambiguity and evolving organizational structures with resilience and clarity helping the team stay focused and aligned.
- Represent the team in cross-functional meetings and initiatives advocating for team needs and contributing to broader departmental goals.
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree and 2 years of experience in the biotechnology pharmaceutical or CRO industries
- Successful leadership experience preferred including informal or project-based leadership
- Strong organizational and communication skills with a detail-oriented mindset
- Experience managing or contributing to projects in a global matrix/team environment
- Critical thinker with the ability to identify risks resolve issues and support decision-making
- Skilled at prioritizing multiple initiatives while maintaining strong cross-functional relationships
- Ability to work independently using sound judgment and knowing when to escalate
- Collaborative spirit with a commitment to team development and knowledge sharing
- Quick to learn new systems and processes with a focus on continuous improvement
- Comfortable working under tight timelines and in evolving environments
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint Excel Word)
- Must be authorized to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship

This is a full-time onsite position based on a first-shift schedule (Monday through Friday 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM) with overtime required as needed. Candidates located within a commutable distance to Cambridge MA are strongly encouraged to apply.
