As Assystem Defence continues to grow were on the lookout for a dynamic and self-motivated Senior Project Planner to support one of our key Defence clients.
Youll be embedded within the clients PMO team acting as the go-to expert for all things planning. This is a home-based role with occasional travel to the client site at Dounreay.
Your Mission:
Project Schedule Management Develop monitor and control schedules to ensure timely milestone and deliverable completion in collaboration with Project Managers.
Project Planning Leadership Lead schedule development both internally and externally with clients.
Work Package Coordination Track progress allocate resources and manage subcontractor activities.
Subcontractor Programme Approval Review for quality and consistency with project timelines.
Stakeholder Communication Provide regular updates on progress risks changes and opportunities.

Qualifications :
Candidate Profile (Skills & Experience):
Planning Expertise Skilled in building and maintaining high-quality schedules
Collaborative Communicator Experienced in working with Project Leads and stakeholders
P6 Proficiency Confident using Primavera P6 (or similar tools) to sequence and allocate resources
Industry Background Experience in the Nuclear or Defence sectors is a big plus
Tech-Savvy Especially in MS Office (Excel & MS Project)
Detail-Oriented Analytical accurate and self-driven
Clear Communicator Capable of distilling complex data into concise updates
Programme Assessor Able to validate subcontractor inputs for accuracy
Qualifications:
Degree (preferred) or equivalent experience
Primavera P6 training (desirable)
Project Management certification (e.g. APM) is a bonus
