Working Student - Drop shipment (m/f/d)

As a Drop Shipment Expert youll play a pivotal role in ensuring smooth order processing and delivery operations. Your responsibilities include receiving and processing customer orders accurately and efficiently. Youll be responsible for monitoring order status throughout the order life cycle and proactively communicating with customers regarding updates delays or any challenges that may arise.

In addition to order processing youll also coordinate logistics working closely with carriers customers and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of orders in the expected quality and quantity. This involves planning transportation routes coordinating with external customs experts for international shipments and ensuring compliance with regulations.

Working hours : 20 hrs/week

Responsibilities

• Receive and process customer orders providing proactive communication regarding order updates and challenges
• Plan transport and collaborate with carriers customers and suppliers to ensure On-time & In-full delivery.
• Coordinate with external customs experts to facilitate efficient export documentation for international shipments
• Collaborate with other departments to monitor and improve supplier and carrier service levels
• Design and analyze analytics of order processing metrics transportation performance and service level providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement

Qualifications :

• You have achieved University Degree in Business Administration Economics or Engineering with focus on SCM or Logistics
• Your experience in comparable position in the Wholesale Retail or FMCG industries is at least 2 years long
• It is essential for you to have first-hand working experience with Transport management system
• You have working experience with top-tier ERP systems (Dynamics 365 or equivalent)
• Your advanced skills in MS Office programs especially PowerPoint and Excel (Pivot tables; Macros) are desirable
• You are passionate about customer service and understand how it can transform businesses
• You are a team player and can successfully blend-in to international team environment
• Your strong and emphatic personality coupled with excellent communication skills empower you to positively influence stakeholders involved in your daily activities
• Work in modern supply chain requires to cope with pressure and continuously prioritize you are master of both
• You are fluent in English (vocal and written) and additional European language will be your advantage
