Job Description

Stoughton Public Schools is seeking a Bilingual Paraprofessional to provide academic support for Multilingual Learners as outlined in the students Individualized Language Plan and as directed by the content and/or ML teacher. He/She or they will assist with accommodating and implementing materials and ensuring access to accommodations as outlined in ILPs. A high school Bilingual Paraprofessional will assist in the annual Seal of Biliteracy AVANT Stamp assessment (April) All Bilingual Paraprofessionals will assist in the administration of in the administration of the WIDA SCREENER (as needed). The Bilingual Paraprofessional will maintain confidentiality of student information and educational records. They will communicate with ML Teacher regarding academic progress behavioral or social-emotional concerns and daily performance. They will Provide students with a safe and supportive academic environment. Review of applications will begin promptly.
