Opportunity

As a Diary Assistant supporting the Chairmans Office you will be an integral part of his team which includes a Chief of Staff Deputy Chief of Staff Personal Assistant and a Business Assistant.

Given the Chairmans leadership of Brunswick his role in providing senior counsel to clients and his position on the Brunswick Group Board the smooth operation of his office is vital. The Chairmans team is known for its high performance friendliness support and inclusivity. This demanding yet rewarding role is ideal for someone interested in working closely with senior business leaders and decision-makers.

About the Role

As a Diary Assistant in the Chairmans Office you will:

  • Provide general support to ensure the smooth running of daily operations. Duties include but are not limited to:
  • Diary support: General support for the Chairmans diary. This includes scheduling and rearranging face-to-face meetings Zoom calls and phone calls as well as liaising with the Chairmans driver and keeping him updated on any diary changes.
  • Printing preparing briefings and presentations.
  • Making arrangements for business travel and accommodation liaising with our third-party travel agent and ensuring coordination with the relevant Brunswick offices.
  • Organising events both internal and external led by the Chairmans Office.
  • Responding to invitations including drafting responses.
  • Booking rooms restaurants and transport.
  • Handling ad hoc project work.
  • Providing ad hoc personal support.

What Were Looking For

  • Teamwork is essential.
  • Strong administration skills (further training can be provided).
  • Good communication skills (both verbal and written).
  • Professional and discreet maintaining confidentiality at all times.
  • Close attention to detail.
  • High standard of the English language (both written and verbal).
  • Ability to multi-task work proactively and anticipate diary clashes.
  • Ability to embed yourself within the business to understand the firms strategy direction and approach.
  • Ability to quickly build relationships both internally and externally with colleagues and clients at all levels.
  • Must be unflappable and stay composed under pressure.
  • A can-do attitude and an all-hands-on-deck approach are essential.
  • Willingness to learn and grow in the role.
