Job Title: Food & Beverage Valley Supervisor

Type of Position: Full Time; Seasonal

Schedule: Five days/week includes weekends/holidays

Pay: $23.40 - $26.00/hr. based on skills and experience.

Summary


With guidance and support from the F&B Leadership team the Valley F&B Supervisor is responsible for overseeing day-to-day Food and Beverage operations at the Loveland Valley Lodge including coordinating food service and preparation cash handling inventory control food and employee safety. In addition the Valley Supervisor will be responsible for maintaining food cost controls such as portioning and menu recipe standards upholding company expectations regarding employee policies and collaborating with other departments as necessary. The Valley Food and Beverage Supervisor should have excellent communication and leadership skills and must be able to motivate and train staff ensure excellent guest experiences and complete any other duties as needed or assigned. Every employee is responsible for providing a positive experience for our guests and employees with safety and fun as our top priorities.


Essential Functions

  • Oversee and direct daily F&B Staff operations and deployment to include: upholding team member performance expectations deploy daily staff as appropriate for business needs maintaining acceptable ticket times and high food quality standards controlling food costs;
  • Coordinate daily food preparation and assist in execution safe food handling and guest service during meal periods;
  • Maintain industry standard food safety and employee safety standards and monitor for compliance;
  • Maintain food production facility cleanliness to Company and Health Department standards within all Valley Lodge F&B outlets;
  • Maintain high level of guest service and hospitality and effect successful guest recovery;
  • Assist in leading staff station training and proper food production standards;
  • Implement and maintain food cost and inventory controls;
  • Other duties as assigned.
Requirements

Requirements/Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent Education and/or Experience;
  • At least 2 years in a high-volume food service environment;
  • At least 1 year in a supervisory capacity;
  • Possession of or ability to obtain a valid Colorado drivers license with an acceptable driving record;
  • Ability to successfully pass background screening;
  • Possession of or ability to obtain ServSafe Food Protection Manager certificate;
  • Ability to step in to perform all duties of any position in the F&B outlets at any time flexibility to move between leader and line level responsibilities quickly;
  • Ability to take initiative to resolve day-to-day operation issues;
  • Proficiency in back of house kitchen operations and front of house guest service;
  • Ability to stand for extended periods;
  • Withstand extreme hot and cold temperatures as found in typical kitchen environments;
  • Winter outdoor work may be required i.e. snow shoveling loading/unloading delivery trucks etc.
  • Advanced office computer skills required including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and typical business computer applications.
  • Ability to communicate fluently in English- speak and understand verbal and written communications;
  • Bi-lingual in Spanish preferred.
  • Must have understanding of general health department regulations;
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
