Job Description
Aquatic Control Inc. is a privately owned lake and pond management company with our home office in Seymour Indiana and satellite offices in Valparaiso IN Evansville IN Truesdale MO Jackson TN Knoxville TN Williamsville IL Elizabethtown KY Ankeny IA and Davenport IA. We are actively growing and need to add a Fisheries Biologist to our Southern territory. This position will be based our of our Elizabethtown KY office.
The Fisheries Biologist is responsible for:
- Act as Lead Biologist on fish surveys and fish removals
- Conduct fish surveys in KY TN and potentially Southern IN with our Evansville office
- Installation of fish habitat and fish feeders
- Write and edit fish survey reports
- Discuss and quote future work with new customers
- General maintenance of trucks boats equipment and grounds
- Help with treatment and/or aeration

Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelors degree or 2 years of experience in fisheries/aquatic science or natural resources
- Experience on electrofishing boat
- Ability to drive a truck while trailering a boat.
- Basic mechanical ability (experience in outboard motor operation is a plus)
- Ability to work in an outdoor environment (physical labor required)
- Ability to travel and work remotely for up to 4 nights at a time.
