Job Description

The Shrine of the Most Blessed Sacrament Parish in Washington DC is hiring a Part-Time (24 hours per week) Coordinator of Faith Formation for Adults.
The Coordinator of Faith Formation for Adults will direct various ministries including the Order of Christian Initiation for Adults and other evangelizing ministries with the collaboration of the priests catechetical ministers and engagement of the parish community


This role will foster an evangelizing community to support and foster formation in the faith at all stages of the lifecycle particularly adults. This role will coordinate closely with the Director of Faith Formation for Children and Families. This position will promote evangelizing opportunities such as ALPHA mission trips pilgrimages and scripture study groups to foster discipleship among the baptized and inquirers alike. Additional activities will include communication and faith formation through digital and print media such as parish website flock notes and bulletin.

Qualifications:

Bachelors and/or Masters Degree in Theology Ministry or its equivalent is preferred. Previous experience in evangelization adult faith formation and OCIA is also preferred.
