Job Description
Job Summary:
Always Best Care Senior Services - Atlanta/Buckhead is currently seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Caregiver to join our team in Union City Georgia. This is a part-time hourly position for 16 hours per week Monday through Thursday. As a Caregiver you will be responsible for providing exceptional care and support to our senior clients helping them maintain their independence and quality of life. This individual contributor role requires a well-skilled individual with experience in healthcare or medical background.
Compensation & Benefits:
The compensation for this position will range from $14 to $16 per hour paid weekly. Our caregivers also have the opportunity for advancement within our company. Additionally we offer a supportive and inclusive work environment ongoing training and development and the opportunity to make a positive impact in the lives of our senior clients.
Responsibilities:
- Provide compassionate and respectful care to our senior clients
- Assist with daily activities such as personal hygiene ambulation and medication reminders
- Monitor and report any changes in clients condition to the appropriate parties
- Help with meal preparation and light housekeeping tasks
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of care provided
- Communicate effectively with clients their families and our team
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a healthcare or medical role
- CPR/First Aid certification
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate and patient demeanor
- Ability to adapt to changing schedules and tasks
- Must be available to work Monday through Thursday in Union City Georgia
