The Kraft Heinz Company is currently seeking aPackaging Operatorto work at our food processing facility in Avon NY! Successful candidates must be willing to supply improvements suggestions and ideas to help continue the success of our facility. Ideal individuals must be safety and quality orientated along with demonstrate adaptability and willingness to work in a team orientated fast paced work environment. This position requires individuals to perform general production duties in a food manufacturing environment following strict quality and safety standards.

Role & Responsibilities:
The basic purpose of the Packaging Operators is to ensure that Cool Whip containers are correctly frozen banded cased coded and sent to the frozen warehouse in an efficient and safe manner in order to provide the highest level of quality and delivery to our customers.
- Has the responsibility to efficiently operate and monitor all variety of filling equipment designated to the Massman casepacker Marsh case coder Fugi Banders and related equipment including but not limited to proper package fill weights and codes.
- Additional responsibilities include film changes changeovers on the equipment minor mechanical adjustments adjusting the equipment during operation and loading supplies.
- Perform all duties related to shut down disassembly sanitation reassembly and start-up.
- Able to lift up to 80 pounds.
- Recognize and report to Supervisor any unusual condition or defective equipment.
Physical Demands:
- While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands and fingers to handle or feel objects tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; stoop kneel crouch or crawl; talk and hear. The employee must lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move 50 - 100 pounds.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Able to work on weekends Holidays and commit to mandated overtime
- A Minimum of a High school diploma or equivalent experience or general education diploma (GED)
- Must have strong communication skills
- Prior manufacturing experience is helpful
