Essential Functions and Responsibilities: Use expertise in behavior analysis to collaborate with school-based teams in the creation of comprehensive and individualized plans that promote effective instruction in the least restrictive FBAs (Functional Behavior Assessments) develop BIP (behavior intervention plans) define objective/measurable target behaviors and design appropriate data collection and present reports as requested by special education/administrative personnel to reflect progress toward goals/ intervention instructional techniques and data collection procedures for direct service conjunction with the educational team review and interpret data to monitor the effectiveness of the program(s).Provide crisis intervention as needed including but not limited to verbal discussion processing with students and/or staff and the application of physical intervention using approved safety care faculty staff and/or family members on the implementation of the behavior support/instructional plan including techniques to support students in the least restrictive fidelity checks to ensure proper implementation of instructional and/or behavior support plan(s).Provide ongoing professional development as it relates to instruction and management of students with cognitive and/or social emotional learning in scheduled meetings with building personnel for plan development progress review and/or data based decision ongoing support modeling and consultation to teachers instructional assistants and related service request of the Administrator work a flexible schedule to accommodate program/student needs before or after school to the professional conduct and scope of practice as outlined in the BCBA Ethics clear lines of communication and professional boundaries and implement supervisors feedback to improve professional other reasonably related duties as assigned by the building administrator and/or Director of Student Services.
