Summary: Join our team as Processing Technician 1 and dive into the exciting world of herb processing! In this hands-on role youll be responsible for milling and mixing fresh and dry herbs with solvents to create captivating macerates pressing and filtering to extract potent essences and compounding unique herbal formulations. Youll also monitor and maintain production equipment ensuring a safe and sanitary environment that adheres to Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP). Qualifications & Requirements:
Requirements: Candidates must possess strong mathematical skills including the ability to calculate figures and amounts such as proportions area circumference volume and percentages as well as apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry. This is a very physical position that requires the ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs with heavy lifting involved in the processing tasks. The work environment can be noisy necessitating the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and may include occasional exposure to outdoor weather and slippery surfaces. A pre-employment physical is required. Additionally candidates should have the ability to read analyze and interpret general business SOPs and technical procedures as well as write reports and procedure manuals. Strong reasoning skills are essential for solving practical problems and navigating situations with limited standardization. Finally effective interpersonal skills are crucial for organizing and communicating thoughts clearly understanding communications from others and maintaining composure in a dynamic work environment.
