US Farathaneis seeking aCorporate Materials Analystfor our Corporate tech Center. Summary: The Corporate Materials Analyst is responsible for keeping records and managing inventory. Keeping track of purchasing habits and stock levels efficiently coordinate the companies needs for supply and demand. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: - Assist in implementation and training in areas of Customer Service Material Planning Production Planning Inventory Control Shipping/Receiving to support all USF facilities.
- Help perform material and inventory control related activities according to best practices writes work instructions/procedures.
- Help reconcile materials and inventory variances determine root cause analysis establish preventative actions for top inventory loss items in organization.
- Supports material flow and inventory process improvements.
- Supports container management activities to minimize loss of expendable packaging.
- Supports the preparation activities for year-end physical inventory.
- Monitor MRP inventory levels and analyze requirements to achieve optimum inventory levels for all sites in organization.
- Resolve material related problems by coordinating with Purchasing Production and Engineering groups.
- Lead projects to help plants achieve business/financial metrics.
- Supports new launch activities to adhere to customer timelines.
- Review inter-company logistics to create cost saves.
- Supports capacity analysis and maintenance in Parts customer portals etc.
- Supports run-at-rate reporting as required.
Qualifications: - High School Diploma. College degree in Supply Chain preferred but not required.
- Materials related experience in an automotive manufacturing environment.
- Must have the ability to prioritize workload as conflicts arise and understand and deal with the impacts of their priority decisions meeting customer needs while protecting the interests of the company.
- Possess strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to identify and resolve inconsistencies in all materials related processes.
- Knowledge working with MRP systems.
- Excellent collaboration skills to interface with all levels of the organization.
- Self-starter with results-oriented approach.
- Skills in Microsoft Word Excel PowerPoint required.
- Experience in customer portals for FCA GM Ford Honda and Toyota.
- Experience in complying to automotive standards (ISO/TS 16949 IATF 16949)
- Experience in conducting/complying to MMOG/LE audit standards.
