HR Service Delivery Manager Germany (HR Operations) (m/f/d)

Our Support Functions deliver services and make recommendations about ways to enhance our workplace and the culture of our organization. Our Support Functions include HR Finance Information Technology Legal Procurement Administration Facilities and Security.

Position Overview:

As the HR Service Delivery Manager Germany (HR Operations) (m/f/d) you will lead a team fostering a high-performing engaged and inclusive team culture in line with our values. In this role you will be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of HR services including payroll benefits administration and HR administration across legal entities in Germany. The role is based in Munich and may may require travel within the local market as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • People Leadership: Lead coach and develop a team driving employee engagement team culture and capability building to support individual and collective success.

  • HR Service Operations: Ensure seamless and compliant delivery of all HR operational services including payroll and compensation & benefits administration.

  • Forecasting & Budgeting: Oversee budget planning and forecasting for HR Service Delivery in alignment with operational needs and strategic priorities.

  • Stakeholder Engagement: Act as the primary liaison collaborating cross-functionally with key internal stakeholders and external stakeholders and partners to ensure alignment and service excellence.

  • Vendor Management: Serve as the main point of contact for internal and external service providers ensuring high-quality efficient and compliant service delivery.

  • HR Process Management: Lead the design implementation and continuous improvement of local HR administrative and transactional processes. Support the effectiveness of the HR Operating Model by enabling HRBPs and Centers of Excellence to deliver strategic value.

  • Process improvement: Drive process efficiency by reducing handoffs simplifying workflows and improving delivery mechanisms.

  • HR Project Management: Lead the successful implementation of the relevant HR portfolio projects at the country level including adapting and deploying global and local HR processes. Ensure compliance with evolving local legislation and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Human Resources Business Administration or a related field

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Human Resources within a complex matrixed multinational environment.

  • Proven people management experience with demonstrated ability to lead motivate and develop high-performing teams.

  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal with the ability to convey complex topics clearly across diverse audiences. Strong active listening and comprehension abilities.

  • Solution-focused mindset with strong problem-solving and root cause analysis capabilities.

  • Demonstrated ability to capture optimize and improve HR processes driving operational efficiency and effectiveness.

  • Solid project management capabilities including planning execution and stakeholder management.

  • Effective decision-making skills even in ambiguous or high-pressure situations.

  • In-depth knowledge of German labor social security and tax regulations including GDPR compliance.

  • Fluency in German and English both written and spoken.
