About the role

The National Repairer Operations Manager will support the delivery of best cost quality and customer outcomes through design and delivery of all supplier audits for Motor Claims. This will be achieved through the effective delivery of the national quality audit framework that ensures ongoing capability uplift and continuous improvement across the supply chain. The role will also have accountability for operational technology across the motor claims ecosystem.

What youll do

  • Active member of the Motor Claims extended leadership team and integral to achievement of scorecard metrics including average repair costs customer satisfaction average repair times and consistent quality outcomes
  • Manage the delivery and execution of a national Audit and compliance framework for the SPIRA (Suncorp Preferred Smash Repair network) network through a team of Motor Performance Advisors
  • Manage the operational technology platforms strategy to deliver best in class efficiency and customer outcomes across both assessing and repair portfolios
  • Accountable for the strategic relationship with key technology vendors supporting the MotorClaims supply chain
  • Collaborate with local operational teams to identify improvement opportunities arising from audit programs and implement relevant remedies including tailored coaching and training programs.
  • Proactively research industry trends and technical changes from collision repair OEMs and equipment suppliers and collaborate across the claims teams to develop and implement capability

What youll bring

  • Extensive knowledge of the motor assessing and repair industry
  • Trade Qualification (preferred) or equivalent Motor Repair/Assessing operational experience
  • Proven leadership and coaching skills including experience managing remote teams
  • Understanding of State Federal & Code requirements
  • Advanced knowledge of motor claims processes and assessment types
