Donor Operations Supervisor Job Responsibilities
- Oversees and assists team members in assigned functional area which may include but not limited to ensuring team is meeting key-deliverables and quality standards addressing and resolving challenges managing and tracking performance and assisting in time management and scheduling; escalates issues to senior leaders as needed.
- Establishes reviews and revises performance standards for assigned staff interacting appropriately to set goals; Communicates expectations and provides feedback; In conjunction with the leader completes performance evaluations employee relations and needed disciplinary activities.
- Provides assistance with personnel management for staff to include timecard maintenance scheduling staffing PTO requests compliance and other administrative matters.
- Facilitates strategies to enhance employee satisfaction. Provides information regarding professional growth and development opportunities.
- Serves as a primary point of contact for staff in the department. May instruct train and oversee the work of other employees with leader oversight.
- Performs administrative responsibilities necessary to comply with Inova Health System Blood Donor Services FDA AABB and CAP policies procedures standards and regulations.
- Collaborates on performance reviews and team member counseling coaching. Monitors collection staff to ensure successful collections and operations on blood drives and fixed sites through weekly visits.
- Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Education: Associates degree (or relevant experience in lieu of degree equivalent to 4 years)
- Years of Experience:3 years of office experience required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 4 years of experience working at a Blood Donor Center
