KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for providing world class operational support across Bain Capital Capital Markets business units
- Lead all operational aspects of the Security Master File and corresponding security reference data with primary focus on asset set up & reference data scrubs to external vendors for the Credit and Insurance Solutions businesses across multiple investment strategies and asset classes: not limited to syndicated bank loans private credit bonds mortgage backed securities asset backed securities and collateralized loan obligations.
- Overseeing and managing the day-to-day support of the business data requirements ensuring timely accurate and reliable completion of all deliverables
- Build manage and enhance relationships with internal clients and external partners including Front Office Investor Relations Data Governance Finance and Information Technology.
- Develop modify and manage workflows and procedures designed to increase controls and improve efficiency regarding the Security Master File and corresponding reference data
- Lead root cause analysis of data quality issues related to specific investment strategies and assets.
- Collaborate with Information Technology on go forward development and enhancement of the Security Master File
- Candid and transparent communication with colleagues and management team
DESIRED BACKGROUND/EDUCATION
- 5 - 10 years of experience in a complex financial services industry
- Prior experience supporting security reference data required
- BS or BA with finance and accounting basics
- Experience with Bloomberg
- Familiarity with legal documents and credit agreements
- Experience in Advent Geneva preferred
GENERAL QUALIFICATIONS
- Detail-oriented conscientious and energetic professional with ability to think creatively
- Strong interpersonal skills with capacity to interact with all levels both internally and externally
- Ability to prioritize responsibilities and work under strict deadlines
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Dedicated team player with a strong sense of ownership and follow-through skills
- Solid Microsoft Excel skills
