Job Description
Position Overview

- Coordinate the management of pediatric auditory and vestibular disorders. Diagnoses and treats the patients hearing and balance problems using advanced technology and procedures.
- Monday through Friday 8:30am - 5:00pm
In an Pediatric Audiologist career with LVHN youll experience:
- Conduct and interpret diagnostic testing and comprehensive audiologic evaluations.
- Counsel patients regarding hearing aids and provides hearing aid evaluations and fittings.
- Investigate and study the underlying causes precipitating factors and symptomatic behavior of impaired speech patterns.
- Monitor condition of equipment and calls appropriate repair/maintenance personnel when necessary.
- Evaluate hearing disorders to determine diagnoses and courses of treatment.
- Evaluate psychological information to measure the impact of hearing loss on a patient.
- Conduct research related to the causes and treatment of hearing and balance disorders.
- Attend meetings related to patient diagnostic evaluation treatment and contributes to discussion as an interdisciplinary team member.

Qualifications
- Masters Degree in Audiology
- 1 year experience in an audiology setting/will accept CCC as 1 year of experience
- Ability to conduct assessments and provide treatment interventions.
- Ability to build comprehensive reports and effectively convey information to others.
- Knowledge of contemporary audiology practices.
- Skill to identify and treat hearing and other auditory disorders.
- Licensed Audiologist - State of Pennsylvania Upon Hire
Preferred Qualifications
- Doctorate in Audiology
