Job Description

Were a locally owned company for over 80 years that values safety integrity and customer satisfaction. We are currently seeking a dependable and professional Propane Delivery Driver to join our growing team in Hartford CT. Position Summary: As a Propane Delivery Driver you will be responsible for the safe and efficient delivery of propane to residential commercial and industrial customers. This role is customer-facing and requires a strong commitment to safety service and professionalism. Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a propane delivery truck (bobtail) in all weather conditions
- Load transport and deliver propane to customer locations in accordance with DOT regulations and company procedures
- Complete daily vehicle inspections and maintain accurate delivery logs
- Provide exceptional customer service answering basic propane-related questions and addressing concerns
- Perform tank inspections and leak checks when required
- Comply with all safety standards policies and local state and federal regulations
Qualifications:
- Valid Commercial Drivers License (CDL) Class B with Hazmat and Tanker Endorsements required
- Clean driving record with a strong commitment to safe driving practices
- Previous experience in propane delivery or related field preferred but willing to train the right candidate
- Ability to lift and maneuver heavy hoses and equipment
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Must pass background check drug screening and DOT physical
